Our code repo is the team's office. Enforce pipeline and repo hygiene, gate pull requests with automation, and keep our ~10-person global team moving at indie speed.
You're the difference between "we shipped a fire drill" and "we shipped a build." Half your time is hands-on reproduction of bugs across Windows / Mac / Steam Deck; the other half is scripting , CI checks, smoke-test harnesses, regression matrices.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain CI pipelines that catch regressions before they merge.
- Run structured regression passes across every build candidate.
- Triage incoming player bug reports; reproduce, scope, file with repro steps.
- Own the branch hygiene discipline , no direct-to-main, no unsigned builds.
- Partner with engineering on automated test coverage for gameplay systems.
What we're looking for
Must-have
- 3+ years QA on shipped games, with at least one PC (Steam) title.
- Comfortable scripting in Python or Bash; can read Unity C#.
- Familiarity with Git flow, GitHub Actions or equivalent CI.
- Methodical, detail-obsessed, unafraid to reject "good enough".
Nice-to-have
- Experience with Steam Deck and controller testing.
- Exposure to automated UI testing frameworks.
- Prior bug-tracker admin (Jira, Linear, Notion).
